Option explanation of software (M3D)

Use support material:

Turn this feature on when you print objects with are overhanging or would fall over without support.

Then there will be printed some support material to support this object part.

Use model on model support:

Turn this feature on when you print models on models and there is some space between the models.

Then there will be printed some support material to support this object part.

Use wave bonding:

Usually this feature was created for printing ABS to get a better sticking on the buildtak.

But can also give it a try with PLA, but I would recommend blue painters tape instead.

Because printing the raft with wave bonding takes much longer and you have to upper the bed with -0.05 because the nozzle goes really deep.

After one of my tests it was really really hard to get the object from the buildtak.

Use raft:

This is the standard feature for printing a base on which the final object will be printed.

It is good for giving a stable stand and removing easily the raft from the buildtak and seperating raft and object.
